Marz The Specialist, current Love Pro Wrestling Grand Champion, recently came to Evolve Strength in Edmonton to take me through his Specialist Leg Day.

It was a blast to chat all things fitness and wrestling, looking back at how Marz got into wrestling, his idols, his dream opponents, who helped him go from 200+ pounds to under 170 pounds through the pandemic, and much, much more through the workout.

Marz roasted my legs in the best way possible, with a simplistic but effective approach – focusing on heavy, low rep movements. Yes, the hack squats consisted of 8 sets – and yes, it will be brutal, but it will give you an insane leg pump.

The Specialist Leg Day

8 Pyramid Sets – Hack Squats

3 Sets 10-15 reps – Calf Raises

3 Sets 3 Reps Single Leg Extensions (1 drop set to failure)

3 Sets 5 Reps Leg Curls

3 Sets 10 – 15 Reps Cable Crunches
